I make video recordings of classical music recitals and opera performances, and put together short promotional videos for musical events. In 2024 I became a member of the Berkeley Hillside Club, and began documenting events and lectures taking place there.

I generally shoot with two 4K cameras, allowing a certain amount of panning and zooming in post production while retaining high-defition image quality, and capture audio with stage-mounted omnidirectional PZM microphones, which give excellent frequency response and a "close-up" sound as well as being visibly unobtrusive.

I edit video, and can create DVD and Blu-ray discs with subtitles, scene selection menus, and full color waterproof printing. Video can also be produced as high definition .mp4 files for posting on YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook. A few of the DVDs I have designed:
