A satirical pastiche for the Lamplighters Music Theatre Gala. Directed by Philip Lowery. Performed at Herbst Theater, San Francisco, November 2009.
It was fun emulating optical effects from the original TV series with the help of astronomical images from NASA and a still from the movie "Metropolis".
The YouTube clip at the bottom of this page shows highlights from the projections. For the Transporter sequence, the video was projected on a scrim in front of the performers. One of the Transporters fails during transmission, dooming the crewman wearing the red shirt.
