Dido & Aeneas / The Scarf

Two one-act operas: Dido & Aeneas by Henry Purcell, and The Scarf by Jay Hoiby. Directed by Mark Streshinsky. Produced by Yale Opera at Sprague Hall, April 2011.

There were three projectors—one for the back of the stage and one for each stage wall—fed by three DVD players. The images below show all three channels. (Click image to open a larger version in a new window.)

Elaborate projections onto the walls of the stage and onto the sheets themselves colored and successfully animated the story.
